About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll & Pensions Specialist to manage payroll operations across our organisation and its subsidiaries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their payroll career, with exposure to both LGPS and TPS pension schemes.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and manage monthly payroll, including pension submissions and BACs payments.
* Maintain accurate HR and payroll records.
* Respond to payroll-related queries from employees, HMRC, and third parties.
* Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with payroll legislation.
* Produce payroll and service delivery reports.
* Support the onboarding of new clients and recommend process improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Deputise for the Payroll & Pensions Deputy Manager as needed.
* Assist the Payroll & Pensions Supervisor with day-to-day operations.
