What the role involves
The post holder will have a key role in the press calibration and EAM press maintenance program whilst maintaining safe working practices and compliance with H&S policies and procedures.
1. Management of calibration schedule to OEM standard
2. Service of rotoclean automatic blanket wash equipment
3. Service of automatic plate lifter equipment
4. Service, repair and install NC/ Forme block equipment
5. Address and resolve production failures to rotoclean, roller and plate lifter equipment
6. Complete all Press Preventative maintenance as per EAM PPM schedule
7. Ensure all pressroom handover and EAM system are updated
8. Stand in for Supervisor as and when required
9. Assist with clean ups and general housekeeping duties
10. Complete administration and reporting associated with EAM maintenance and calibration logs
11. Support press make ready operations as and when required
12. Any other additional duties as requested by the Pressroom Manager or other Supervisor roles
13. Ensure company obligations within health and safety and environmental law and group / site policy is maintained at all times
What you'll need to succeed
14. Engineering qualifications desirable
15. Lifting and slinging operations (Training provided)
16. Drive and commitment with an ability to work shifts
17. Excellent communication skills verbal/written/practical
18. Team player with the ability to lead a team
19. A good awareness of HSE standards and regulations.
20. Be attentive to detail and focussed on quality
21. Computer literate
22. An understanding of manufacturing best practice and lean principles and tools
