About the Role: Advance your career as a Chartered Building Surveyor, leading diverse, high-quality projects from rural estates to historic buildings, within a highly respected company. This role places you at the forefront of delivering expert surveying advice and project management, while building strong, lasting client relationships and providing an exceptional standard of service. As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from rural estates and private individuals to charities.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake building surveys and inspections, delivering clear, detailed, and high-quality reports
* Serve as a key client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships while delivering excellent client care
* Provide expert advice on building preservation and conservation, ensuring full regulatory compliance
* Lead contract administration, procurement, and project delivery
* Prepare and manage documentation, including Letters of Engagement, specifications, tenders, and statutory approvals
* Effectively prioritise and manage workload to consistently meet deadlines, KPIs, and project objectives
Qualifications:
* MRICS qualified
* Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven post-qualification industry experience
Required Skills:
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
* Highly professional with a strong work ethic
* Sound knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
* Highly organised with strong project management capabilities

* Full driving license with a willingness to travel
