Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support decision-making processes.
4. Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
5. Monitor financial performance and provide insightful reports to stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial planning and resource allocation.
7. Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
8. Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
9. Provide recommendations to improve financial processes and systems.
10. Assist in managing cash flow and controlling costs within the property sector.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. Ideally working towards a recognised accounting qualification or part-qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
12. Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
14. Knowledge of the manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
15. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
