Offer description

Role summary

This Group-level role combines project delivery coordination with supply chain execution across BA Systems and Firma. You will manage customer and supplier commitments, place and control orders, expedite to protect programme dates, and ensure quality and compliance documentation is complete and issued on time.

Key responsibilities

· Act as a key point of contact for live projects/orders: agree delivery dates, manage requirements and provide proactive updates.

· Convert project demand into purchase orders/work orders; confirm capacity and lead times; maintain clear plan vs actual trackers.

· Proactively expedite suppliers and drive recovery plans to protect delivery and installation dates.

· Coordinate with Project Managers, Design/Technical, Quality and Logistics to ensure delivery-to-site readiness (booking, packaging, labelling, site constraints).

· Control information and change: manage drawing/spec revisions with suppliers and capture delivery/lead-time impacts of late changes.

· Own compliance/traceability packs and supplier quality follow-up (e.g., NCRs, corrective actions, certificates/DoPs/test documentation).

· Run regular supplier operational reviews with KPIs to drive on-time, in-full and right-first-time performance.

Skills & experience

Essential

· Experience in project supply chain/procurement/expediting within a project environment (manufacturing/construction preferred).

· Strong organisation and prioritisation across multiple live projects, deadlines and stakeholders.

· Confident communicator with clients and suppliers; able to challenge, escalate and align expectations.

· Good Excel/ERP literacy and a structured approach to tracking, reporting and problem-solving.

· Working knowledge of lead times, ordering, delivery scheduling and documentation control.

Desirable

· CIPS part/fully qualified (or equivalent experience).

· Experience with engineered/fabricated products supply chains and QA/traceability/revision control.

· Knowledge of construction products/manufactured building components.

Key relationships

· Clients and main contractors (delivery commitments, updates, documentation requirements).

· Project Managers (programme alignment, priorities, site/install dates).

· Design/Technical (information issue, revisions, clarifications).

· Suppliers and partner manufacturers (capacity, lead times, quality, documentation).

· Logistics, workshop/production, Commercial and Finance (order execution, PO accuracy, invoice matching).
