Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Inclusive Hub
Mainstream Primary School | KS1 & KS2 | September Start
We are looking to appoint a creative, nurturing Learning Support Assistant to join our Inclusive Hub within a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school. This role involves supporting children across KS1 and KS2 who need additional help to access learning and thrive in school.
The Role
As part of our Inclusive Hub team, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
* Use creative and practical strategies to engage children and support learning across the curriculum
* Support pupils’ emotional regulation, communication, and social development
* Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff to deliver inclusive, tailored support
* Help pupils build confidence, independence, and positive relationships
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Is patient, creative, and adaptable, with a passion for inclusive education
* Has experience supporting children in KS1 and/or KS2, ideally within a mainstream setting
* Has an understanding of SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs desirable)
* Remains calm and consistent, even in challenging situations
* Is a proactive team player who builds strong relationships with pupils and staff

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position; in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
