Job Purpose As a Technical Advisor Trainee / ISO Management Systems Auditor, you’ll play a key role in supporting compliance and technical operations while developing into a fully qualified ISO auditor. You’ll gain hands-on experience, formal training, and a clear career pathway—all while contributing to the integrity of global certification processes. Train and shadow audits for ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, BES 6001 & Product Conformity). Assist in planning audits, preparing documentation, and learning to identify non-conformities. Support technical review of audit reports and maintain compliance with accreditation requirements. Contribute to certification schemes, risk assessments, and client applications. Help manage certification records, internal audits, and liaise with UKAS for assessments. Undertake formal auditor and technical training programmes. Key Person Requirements Essential: - Degree or equivalent in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or similar. - Strong organisational and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Proficiency in MS Office. Desirable: - Awareness of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001). - Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and certification body operations. - Auditor/Lead Auditor training (or willingness to undertake). - Experience in quality, compliance, or technical advisory roles.
