Credit Controller (6-Month FTC) - Near Lincoln - £35k Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking to join a friendly, supportive finance team where your contribution really matters? Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for a motivated individual to manage customer credit and receivables and play a key role in maintaining excellent financial controls. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, allocating cash, monitoring credit exposure, and reducing aged debt. You will work closely with the Commercial and Sales teams to onboard new customers, perform credit checks, and ensure customer information is accurately maintained in the ERP system. You will also support the wider finance team with month-end processes and ad hoc finance queries, making this a varied and interesting role where no two days are the same. The role of Credit Controller Accurately allocate customer payments and reconcile bank transactions within the ERP system Manage customer onboarding, including credit assessments and setting up accounts Proactively chase outstanding debt and maintain strong customer relationships Monitor and manage credit limits and accounts on hold Provide support during month-end close and assist with ad hoc financial queries The ideal candidate for the role of Credit Controller Previous experience in a similar Credit Control or Accounts Receivable position Strong Excel skills and confident using financial/ERP systems Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Experience using modern ERP systems or reporting tools such as Power BI is desirable
