Overview
Join to apply for the Estate Planning Lawyer role at Co-op. You will work within Co-op Legal Services on estate planning matters, managing cases end to end with a client-focused approach to targets. We will source new work for you, and there will be opportunities for progression as the estate planning team grows.
Base pay range
Estate Planning Solicitor — £32,000-£44,000 plus excellent benefits (Work level 6A)
Full time, 37.5 hours
Hybrid working: you’ll divide your time between home and any of our offices in Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol, or Stratford-upon-Avon. For more information, see the hybrid-working policy.
What you’ll do
* Own a caseload of complex estate planning cases, including Wills, Trusts and LPAs
* Use the case management system to record information accurately
* Engage with clients mainly by telephone and email
* Collaborate with expert support from the team; administrative support will be provided at certain case levels
* Mentor more junior members of the team using your legal knowledge
Who this role would suit
* Qualified as a solicitor, chartered legal executive, CILEX, or TEP, with a background in estate planning
* Knowledge of tax systems within England & Wales
* Strong attention to detail and ability to draft documents
* Ability to use initiative and prioritise work effectively
* Client-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships in a remote setting
