Overview
Do you have experience supporting children or adults with special educational needs? We are seeking an EYFS or lower Primary SEND Teaching role in the Kidderminster area. This role involves a small class of 8 children, supporting those who are severely autistic and have SEMH needs. You will work alongside a teacher and another SEN TA in school, who are friendly and will help you adapt to the setting. The role starts immediately, with a short notice period possible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Support children in early development years (EYFS/lower Primary) with SEND, autism, and SEMH needs in a small class setting.
* Collaborate with the teacher and SEN TA to adapt to the setting and support individual learning and development.
* Assist with in-class activities, monitor progress, and help maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience supporting children or adults with special educational needs, especially autism and SEMH.
* Ability to work effectively in a small team with supportive colleagues.
* Eligibility to work in the UK; DBS checks or willingness to obtain via Axcis, plus other mandatory compliance checks as required by DfE guidelines.
