* You will be central to ensuring that our customers have an outcomes-based safety and support plan in place that meets their aims and aspirations.
* You will support our customers to manage risk and take positive risks to enhance their wellbeing, working alongside other support agencies to ensure a holistic approach.
* You will lead in referrals, risk assessments, and support the team to ensure that our customers, colleagues, and buildings are safe by adhering to good practices, legislation, and safeguarding procedures.
* You will actively engage with our customers and wider stakeholders to ensure that the service thrives and delivers to the best of its ability.
* You will ensure our service supports our customers to connect with the local community, gaining new networks and opportunities through volunteering, training, and work.
* You will support the team to be strong advocates for our customers by getting to know them and recognizing them as experts through their lived experiences, Reward, and Recognition awards.

Candidate Profile
* You're an organized, motivated, self-starter, and inspiring leader who believes in the potential of every young person. You combine empathy with clear direction and are committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where staff and young people can thrive.
* Proven relevant work experience within this field.
* Previous line management experience including coaching and nurturing team members.
* Experience supporting team members in customer-facing environments, especially with difficult and complex situations.
* Experience working with vulnerable customers.
* Experience in safety and support planning, risk assessment, using a strengths-based and trauma-focused approach.
* Experience working within partnerships to deliver positive outcomes.
* Understanding of the challenges faced by our customers and how these may influence their behaviors.
* Knowledge of a strengths-based support approach, GCSE Maths and English (Grade 9-4 / A-C or equivalent).
* Supervisory qualification or commitment to achieve within 18-24 months.
* A full driving licence is desirable. Please note that Orwell Housing Association does not provide visa sponsorship. You must be eligible to work in the UK and provide the relevant right to work documentation if appointed.
* This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. All new arrivals to the UK must also provide a Statement of Good Conduct (SOGC).
