Job Overview
Experienced electrician able to undertake all aspects of electrical installations, LED lighting installations, minor works, test and inspection where applicable. To carry out Project works on lighting & electrical projects for the retail, industrial, commercial and government sectors.
Main Duties
1. Undertake LED Lighting and electrical installations.
2. Working closely with the Lighting Project team, sub-contractors, and Project Manager to meet completion targets set for a particular project.
3. Ability to work nights and stay away from home as majority of work will be carried out outside of normal working hours.
4. Work to electrical drawings e.g., installation, circuit diagrams and line schematics.
5. Produce a quality end product first time with no re-work required.
6. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
What we are looking for
7. Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations
8. -18 18th Edition Update
9. -52 Test and Inspection desirable, not essential – full training will be given
10. SSSTS Accreditation – desirable, not essential – full training will be given
11. Knowledge of EV charging units – desirable, not essential – full training will be given
12. IPAF – Desirable and full training will be given
13. PASMA – Desirable and full training will be given
14. Must be able to work nights and stay away from home as the majority of work will be carried out outside of normal working hours Mon-Fri.
15. Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weight of up to 25kg
16. Ability to effectively prioritise own workload
17. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
18. Full UK driving licence
19. Strong customer care focus
20. Excellent communication skills
21. Ability to problem solve
22. Adapt to technical changes within the industry and attend training courses should they be required.
23. To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time
24. To understand and comply with policies and procedures
25. To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
26. Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
27. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
28. To be responsible for company vehicle and all materials on board
29. Undertake additional duties as instructed by the Project Manager
