Summary
We are seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at The Mulberry Bush Nursery in the heart of our community. This role is vital in supporting the development and well-being of our young learners, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional childcare.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development.
* Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 4 years.
* Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs.
* Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere for all children.
* Observe and assess children's development
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
* Minimum Level 3 Child care qualification
* Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are preferred.
