About the Role
As a locum Consultant Psychiatrist, you'll work within multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality psychiatric care to adults with complex mental health needs. Your responsibilities may include:
10. Conducting psychiatric assessments and reviews
11. Leading treatment planning and clinical decision-making
12. Supporting junior medical staff and MDTs
13. Liaising with community services and external partners
14. This is a part time role working 3.5 days per week
15. No remote working
16. AC STATUS ESSENTIAL
What We're Looking For
Essential:
17. MBBS or equivalent medical degree
18. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
19. Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status (or eligibility)
20. A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
21. Experience in adult mental health settings
22. UK Right to Work
23. A flexible, collaborative, and patient-focused approach
Desirable:
24. CCT in General Adult Psychiatry (or within 6 months of achieving it)
