ADI now have the opportunity for a Logistics Operations Manager to join our team based from our International Head Office in Chadderton, Oldham (3 days office / 2 home).
This key role within International Supply Chain will lead day‑to‑day logistics operations, drive carrier performance, and deliver continuous improvement across a fast-paced global environment.
JOB DUTIES:
Operations Management
1. Manage daily logistics and freight operations across international markets
2. Monitor shipment visibility, handle exceptions, and resolve escalations
3. Oversee import/export activity, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations
Carrier & Supplier Management
4. Manage relationships with carriers and logistics providers
5. Lead performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure KPI delivery
6. Drive cost, service, and performance improvements
Financial Control
7. Oversee freight spend, reporting, and cost analysis
8. Audit invoices, resolve discrepancies, and manage freight claims
9. Support cost recovery and optimisation initiatives
Reporting & Performance
10. Analyse carrier data to identify improvements
11. Maintain reporting tools and dashboards (Excel / Power BI)
12. Track KPIs and drive operational efficiency
Projects & Improvement
13. Lead logistics improvement and transformation projects
14. Support ERP and carrier integration initiatives
15. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business goals
YOU MUST HAVE:
16. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight operations
17. Carrier management and performance experience
18. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
19. Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
20. Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
21. Track record of driving operational improvements

23. Knowledge of international freight, customs, and compliance
24. Experience with supplier performance management
25. Lean / continuous improvement methodologies
26. ERP and logistics integration experience
27. Relevant industry experience or ADI Supply Chain experience
