Job Description:

Domus have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care professional to join a national provider as a Registered Manager in Rochdale

As the Registered Manager, you will provide clear direction and be responsible for the day-to-day management of a service for adults with Learning Disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include management and supervision of a great staff team, financial and health and safety management to fulfil statutory obligations.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop, making a difference to so many lives by enabling the people who these services to enjoy independence and fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:

* Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
* Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary.
* Be responsible for the negotiation of contracts and fees with Local Authorities and PCT`s for new and existing services.
* You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home, and be an excellent manager of staff.

Key requirements a Registered Manager must have:

* Have a level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Have experience in managing Residential and/or Supported Living services for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
* Experience of a range of different departments such as therapies, transport, catering, administration, care and maintenance would be advantageous.
* The ability to hold CQC registration for this service.
* Have strong people and communication skills.
* Provide exemplary customer service.
* Ensure budgetary compliance.
* Clear career pathway for training and development
* A cycle-to-work programme
