Committed to excellence and continuous improvement, they are seeking a seasoned professional to join as Head of Supply Chain.
Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Head of Supply Chain is responsible for planning and delivery activities to meet customer demand and internal inventory targets. This includes materials procurement, production planning, and warehouse management, ensuring resources are allocated and supervised for safe, efficient, and timely order fulfillment. As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic insight and foster a high-performing environment that drives operational excellence and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

1. Safety, Environment, and Compliance
2. Production Planning & Scheduling
3. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
4. Logistics & Distribution
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Reporting
Skills & Experience Required:
1. 8+ years in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a chemical manufacturing environment or SME. Proven experience in procurement, production planning, and warehousing.
2. Leadership excellence with the ability to lead and motivate teams, develop a high-performance culture, and achieve business goals.
3. Deep operational knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement to final delivery, and regulatory compliance (e.g., REACH, GHS, COSHH). Strong communication skills, hands-on leadership style, and team development capabilities.
