Senior Technology Recruitment Consultant
A premier UK consultancy is seeking a skilled and passionate Penetration Tester to join its growing team of cybersecurity experts. This is a dynamic opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and a proactive mindset, eager to make a tangible impact across a wide range of client environments.
Working on mission critical projects across National Security, Critical National Infrastructure and Defence the Senior Penetration Tester will liaise with highly-skilled teams acting as a trusted advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct hands-on internal penetration tests in infrastructure/Active Directory environments
* Produce clear and concise technical reports, summarising findings for both technical and business stakeholders
* Work directly with clients as a trusted advisor – this is a consulting-facing role
* Operate in sensitive, high-risk environments where mistakes have real consequences
* Contribute to improving team tooling, processes, and client methodology
* Be comfortable working autonomously without extensive documentation or runbooks
Key Qualifications and Skills:

* Possesses industry-recognised certifications such as CTM, CSTM, CTL, CSTL, OSCP, or CREST/Cyber Scheme qualifications.
* Brings specialist knowledge in one or more areas of penetration testing – this could include mobile app security, cloud environments, operational technology (OT), or specific sectors such as telecommunications, defence, or maritime.
* Demonstrates a strong desire to contribute to the growth of the team – whether by supporting internal training initiatives, enhancing infrastructure and tooling, or helping plan and execute client engagements.
* Keen to deliver and evolve high-quality ethical hacking training as part of a CREST-accredited programme.
* Thrives in problem-solving environments, with excellent analytical skills and a curiosity-driven mindset.
* Enjoys working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, bringing adaptability and energy to a fast-paced consulting environment.
