IMH Recruitment are seeking experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our client’s Family Hub Childcare Settings in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated childcare professionals with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent qualification) to play a vital role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise children during play (indoor/outdoor) and mealtimes, supporting independence while providing care. * Contribute to planning, delivering, and evaluating activities in line with current curriculum frameworks. * Take responsibility for tracking and assessing the progress of key children, setting individual learning targets. * Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that respects cultural diversity and individual needs. * Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and partner agencies, supporting engagement in the centre’s work. * Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to children’s development and centre activities. * Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, hygiene, equality, and data protection policies. * Support the smooth running of the centre, including setting up and tidying away equipment and resources. Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. * Experience working with children aged 0–5 years in a childcare setting. * Strong knowledge of child development and good practice in early years education. * Understanding of legislation and initiatives affecting young children and families. * Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals. * Enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references are essential.
