We are looking for an experienced, motivated Practice Manager to join our growing dental group. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the practice, champion the clinical environment, and lead a team to deliver excellent patient care.
As Practice Manager you will be visible and present (9–5), ensuring the practice runs efficiently and smoothly each day. You'll support staff, manage operations, and make sure standards are met in compliance, reception, and clinical areas. Working closely with the site partner, you will be accountable for performance and will play a key role in helping the practice hit its financial and clinical targets.
While regulatory compliance remains fundamental, we are seeking a visionary and driven individual to lead the transformation of our practice from a predominantly NHS model into a thriving private business. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and supporting the team day-to-day.
* Championing the clinical environment to ensure high standards.
* Overseeing reception and operations, ensuring efficient diary use and accurate bookings.
* Managing recruitment, training, and appraisals.
* Maintaining compliance (CQC, HTM 01-05, safeguarding, H&S).
* Monitoring KPIs and driving improvements.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has proven leadership or management experience (ideally in dental/healthcare).
* Can motivate, support, and hold staff accountable.
* Is organised, efficient, and focused on results.
* Understands compliance requirements and the importance of patient care.
