We are looking for a Fire Safety Joiner to join the Building Safety Team in this new role. As a Fire Safety Joiner you will provide all types of fire safety joinery repairs, to tenanted and vacant properties, within a customer service quality driven repair and maintenance service. You will be covering the South Yorkshire, Calderdale, and Lancashire area.
This is a temporary position for a duration of 4 months with possibility of extension.
Requirements
Outline of Key responsibilities of the Fire Safety Joiner...
* To carry out all types of Fire safety Joinery repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties as per job tickets, specifications and contract drawings
* Ensure repairs are completed with high quality workmanship and meet relevant building regulations and standards
* Organize work efficiently to minimize lost or non-productive time and proactively communicate any workload issues
* Participate in overtime, stand-by, and call-out shift schedule as needed
* Use initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs that may deviate from original requirements, obtaining necessary approvals
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient use of time, materials, and resources
We are looking for someone who has...
* Full UK manual drivers license and own vehicle
* Experience in joinery along with other relevant building disciplines
* Relevant qualification and experience, such as City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery
* Customer service experience
* Ability to complete repairs efficiently and in one visit whenever possible

* Hourly rate: £19-23p/h
* Additional earnings from the call-out rota
