A major UK & International 3pl, 4pl, transport, logistics and freight organisation is looking for an air & Sea assistant toensure smooth freight operations by handling day-to-day irregularities, liaising with customers and suppliers, and maintaining compliance with security, safety, company, and environmental regulations. No industry sector experience is required, just excellent customer services
ROLE: Air & Sea Assistant LOCATION: Bristol BASIC SALARY: £23k HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
ROLE: Responsible for logistics tasks with low to medium complexity Handle day-to-day operational challenges or irregularities, escalating when appropriate Provide excellent customer service by liaising with customers and suppliers Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs) Provide support for the team by completing additional tasks as required Ensure compliance with security, safety, company, and environmental regulations EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Freight, Transport or logistics sector experience. Not essential Excellent customer services experience. Able to work under pressure Flexible and adaptable Strong analytical skills Logical thinking ability Excellent command of the English language Proficiency in MS Office
