Key Accountabilities
 * Embed a robust breakdown structure, integrating data from all control functions.
 * Lead costing sessions to establish a market‑tested cost baseline focused on value for money.
 * Lead planning sessions and workshops to create the master project/programme schedule baseline.
 * Apply procurement principles, collating lead times to prioritise material and equipment ordering.
 * Manage the risk management process, conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments to support cost and schedule predictability.
 * Ensure stakeholder sign‑off on baselines and provide regular progress updates.
 * Embed a robust update process for schedule, interfaces, cost, risk and changes.
 * Influence principal contractor and client to drive delivery and meet schedule and cash‑flow KPIs.
 * Control costs using conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, contingency principles and procurement practices.
 * Apply quality checks to updates from client and principal contractor.
 * Lead the change management process, providing a platform for change approval and monitoring.
 * Identify trend and root causes of deviations to recommend remedial actions and maximise client value.
Qualifications
 * Proven experience delivering controls in a major project/programme environment.
 * Experience managing a multi‑functional controls team.
 * Proficiency with controls software such as Primavera P6, Power BI and Microsoft Office.
 * Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start‑up processes.
 * Experience leading collaborative workshops.
 * Strong time‑management, communication and autonomous working skills.
 * Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
