We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist training provider delivering technical training within the MOD. They are seeking a Vehicle Technician Trainer to deliver both Initial Trade Training (ITT) and Subsequent Trade Training (STT) courses at Lyneham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to step into training. You will be passing on your knowledge and skills to the next generation of technicians, with full support and a funded teaching qualification provided.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom and workshop-based training on vehicle systems at Levels 2 and 3.
Teach across Initial Trade Training and Subsequent Trade Training programmes.
Support learners with their development, providing guidance and assessment.
Prepare and deliver engaging training sessions, both theory and practical.
Ensure training delivery meets MOD and awarding body standards. What We’re Looking For
Background as a Vehicle Technician (military or civilian).
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance.
Excellent communication and coaching skills.
No previous teaching qualification required – full training and the Level 4 CET will be provided. Benefits
Salary starting at £37,000, rising to £39,000 once Level 4 CET is achieved (fully funded).
37-hour working week with early finish on Wednesdays.
