SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (Urmston) | Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a highly respected and inclusive primary school in Urmston to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm) is available for an immediate start and focuses on providing tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Your Role Will Include:
* Providing focused support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering personalised learning activities
* Supporting the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Helping to maintain an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupil progress
* Monitoring and adapting support based on pupil development
What We’re Looking For:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with young learners
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
* Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training)
