Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Room Leader to lead one of our rooms and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality early years education. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Level 3 (or above) qualified professional looking to take the next step in their childcare career.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the daily running of the room
* Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Support, mentor, and supervise room staff
* Monitor children's learning and development through observation and assessment
* Ensure the room meets high standards of care, safety, and hygiene
* Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
* Act as a Key Person for a group of children
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met
* Contribute to staff meetings and continuous improvement within the nursery
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
* Previous experience in an early years setting
* Experience leading or supervising a team (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
