Freight Analyst – Exciting Opportunity with our Client

About the Role
As a Freight Analyst, you will report to the Traffic & Customs Supervisor, providing critical administrative and analytical support across the Shipping department. Your primary focus will be on managing and validating freight invoices for production materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure Safety & Compliance: Adhere to Health & Safety policies and promote safe working practices.
2. Support Shipping Operations: Assist with core functions to keep freight moving efficiently.
3. Invoice Accuracy: Validate and process freight invoices only when services have been delivered.
4. Manage Freight Costs: Handle invoices for inbound and outbound materials, adapting to production volume changes.
5. Analyze & Report: Collate metrics, perform analysis, and provide insights on shipping performance.
6. Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and complete 1PDs.
7. Professional Development: Undertake training and further learning as required.
