You’ll be paid a salary of up to £35,000 per annum and receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
Lead and facilitate weekly mid-term and short-term planning discussions to align forecasted pick-out volumes with available labour resources
* Participate in daily ASH (Absence/Sick/Holiday) reviews to ensure labour is deployed effectively across departments
* Respond to real-time operational changes by reallocating labour to meet fluctuating pick-out and workload demands
* Lead and support the on-site resource planning team, providing guidance, prioritisation, and clear direction
* Liaise with agency partners to secure shift coverage, manage headcount, and support recruitment alignment
* Maintain accurate workforce data, including agency headcount, Kronos inputs, temp-to-perm tracking, and shift splits
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience leading and coordinating a team within a fast-paced operational environment
* Strong background in workforce planning, labour coordination, or resource management within logistics, distribution, or manufacturing
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
* Confidence working with workforce management systems such as Kronos and Excel to maintain data accuracy and produce reports
* Experience working with agency labour models, including scheduling, headcount control, and recruitment alignment
