Job overview
The Assistant Practitioner Education Coordinator role is designated to deliver training and development to support HCSWsto deliver evidence based clinical care under the direction and support of a Registered Nurse by following the Health Board’sprotocols, policies, procedures, and national education pathways.
Responsible for the delivery of a high standard of safe, individualised, efficient, cost-effective service under the delegatedauthority of a Registered Nurse, Therapist or Midwife.
The post holder will liaise with learners and Agored Cymru regarding qualification and assessments.
Main duties of the job
Deliver the HCSW clinical induction programme, along with supporting the Clinical Skills Nurse with other clinical skills training and new skills to meet the needs of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and /or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Knowledge of clinical procedures and patient conditions acquired through theoretical courses and HCSW experience to Diploma Level equivalency
* Teaching Qualification
Experience
* Evidence of continuous development/lifelong learning. Significant experience of working as a Health Care Support Worker role within an NHS clinical environment • Knowledge of PTHB policies and procedures
* Experience of training
