Job Description
The In-House Intellectual Property (IP) Legal Counsel will be responsible for:
1. Develop and implement intellectual property, patent, trademark and copyright strategies to protect new and existing company assets.
2. Manage patent portfolios, including drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications.
3. Collaborate with research/ development teams of inventors to identify and safeguard new innovations.
4. Patent protection and prosecution, handle IP disputes, including litigation support and resolution strategies, managing outside counsel as required.
5. Negotiate and draft IP-related agreements, such as licensing and joint development agreements.
6. Work directly with senior stakeholders to providing guidance on intellectual property matters.
7. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to intellectual property in the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Candidates must be based in Massachusetts, able to work from the office 3-4 days per week, and have US work authorization now and indefinitely.
