Purpose of the job:
To assist with the laminating of components and tooling across a range of industry sectors, sizes and complexities.
Key Responsibilities:
Final preparation of various Tooling block patterns and Aluminium moulds.
Using a variety of hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper to a high standard
Spraying Patterns and final prep to a high standard.
Assembly of Jigs and Fixtures.
Preparation of a low melting temperature moulds.
Checking route card instructions are correct
To follow company processes.
Keep all equipment maintained
Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy
SKILLS:
Previous experience in a pattern shop or similar environment.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Good attention to detail is essential.
Able to follow work instructions.
Good awareness of health and safety.
Good verbal communication and listening skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Used to working in a fast-moving environment.
Flexible approach to whatever it takes to get the job done.
Problem Solving skills.
