Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Counterbalance Driver, working within a manufacturing enviroment based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. You will be working a 4 on x 4 off shift pattern. 06:00 - 18:00 hours. * Responsible for adhering to safe systems of work processes and acting in a safe manner to protect the health and safety of yourself and others at all times. * Follow all Quality systems and procedures to ensure our products meet food safety (HACCP), legal and customer requirements as well as maintaining external standards eg BRC, Femas. * Use the systems in place to accurately control and co-ordinate raw materials, packaging, consumables and finished goods * Ensure all Health & Safety documentation and policies are followed and completed. * Control OEE, wastage and plant efficiency * Handling and preparation of raw materials used in the manufacture of food products. * Ensure all quality, quality documentation and hygiene procedures are followed, and identify potential improvement areas. * Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy industrial environment * Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport * Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas * Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions. * Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack...
