We're looking to recruit a permanent, full time Business Development Manager to help drive our next phase of growth in Tier 1 and 2. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships - from lead generation all the way through to mobilisation, before handing over to one of our Account Manager's. The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling in the Care sector, a strong commercial mindset, a positive, can-do attitude and strong knowledge of portfolio sales approach. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute a territory plan to target new business in your territory from 100-750 beds, in line with company sales targets. Self-generation of leads through using existing contacts or customers. Present written proposals providing both financial and value add content to the customer. Work collaboratively with Account Managers to win new business, identifying multiple points of contact in potential customers. Develop a high level of expertise in the portfolio of products that Blueleaf sells, such that you become a strategic resource for our customers. Represent Blueleaf with the highest standards of professionalism both internally and externally. Ensure adherence to reporting is always executed and use of CRM is maximized. Present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that demonstrate the company’s value proposition that will win new business. Represent Blueleaf at conferences, exhibitions, seminars and professional association meetings, as requested and promote the company’s product solutions and brands with the highest standards of professionalism. Skills & Experience: Trained in Consultative Selling Skills at a minimum Intermediate level 5 years' experience selling in the Care sector Commercial awareness: a business attitude and business sense that is reflected in every decision and action. A positive attitude and mindset, working well as part of a team and being an excellent team player, exuding positivity even through tough times. E xcellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Planning and organising self and working and encouraging others to accomplish specific goals. Ability in gathering and analysing information Strong decision making and problem-solving skills and being able to ask powerful questions to obtain key information to provide bespoke solutions. Ability to keep up to date with key issues in the market Development: a willingness to learn and develop, and be able to adapt to varying environments, responsibilities or people while maintaining effectiveness.
