An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced National Account Manager to join a leading FMCG business with one of the most recognisable brands in its category.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Basildon, focused on driving growth across Organised Wholesalers, Cash & Carry, and Convenience sectors throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Own and develop the sales strategy for wholesalers and convenience channels
* Drive customer acquisition and retention, building strong, long-term relationships
* Manage territories and key accounts, optimising for growth and efficiency
* Lead sales forecasting, planning, and reporting activities
* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and product teams
* Use market insights and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the game
* Deliver promotional campaigns and negotiate pricing to ensure mutual value
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven account management and business planning experience
* Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Background in wholesale, convenience, or discounter channels
* Commercially driven, with a sharp focus on results
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business or related field
