About The Role

We're looking for Masters-level biology professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your scientific expertise will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex biological concepts — from cell biology to molecular genetics and beyond.

Biology Masters – AI Data Trainer

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your advanced biology knowledge becomes the foundation for smarter, more accurate AI systems. No AI background required — your science is what matters.

* Organization: Alignerr

What You'll Do

* Design challenging, graduate-level biology problems to rigorously test AI performance
* Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise scientific reasoning
* Evaluate AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, logical soundness, and depth of understanding
* Collaborate with research teams to refine evaluation benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics
* Help identify gaps in AI reasoning across domains like biochemistry, genetics, physiology, and biotechnology

Who You Are

* Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills across advanced biology domains
* Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely in writing
* Detail‑oriented with the ability to provide structured, constructive feedback
* Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
* No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

* Experience with data annotation, scientific writing, or evaluation systems
* Familiarity with topics spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., molecular biology, ecology, neuroscience)
* Background in research, lab work, or academic publishing

Why Join Us
