Internal Recruitment Consultant – Temporary Staffing (Managed Service) Abbatt Property Recruitment | Central London

About Abbatt Property Recruitment
Abbatt Property Recruitment is a specialist recruiter with a long-established reputation for placing temporary and permanent staff across London's residential property sector. We work with some of the capital's most prestigious property management companies, providing the people who keep their buildings running - from Estate Managers and Building Managers to Concierge, Receptionists, and Security Guards.
As part of our continued growth, we are now recruiting for an Internal Recruitment Consultant to join our temporary staffing team on a dedicated managed service account for a fantastic client.

The Opportunity
This is a specialist role within Abbatt's central office, focused exclusively on delivering a managed recruitment service to one of the UK's largest property management companies. Rather than managing a broad client portfolio, you will operate as a dedicated resource for a single, major account; developing an in-depth understanding of the client's portfolio, their people, and their operational needs.

Your direct contacts will be the property managers/building managers responsible for individual residential buildings across London. You will manage an established bank of temporary workers and will be responsible for coordinating bookings, maintaining strong candidate relationships, and delivering a consistently high standard of service to the client.

Key Responsibilities
Client Management
Receive and action booking requests from property managers, some may be made at short notice and require a prompt, accurate response
Develop strong working relationships with client contacts across the portfolio, becoming a trusted and reliable point of contact
Develop a thorough understanding of each site's requirements, including preferred candidate profiles, dress codes, access arrangements, and site-specific expectations
Provide a responsive, professional service that consistently meets and exceeds client expectations
Candidate Coordination
Match temporary workers from the existing candidate bank to suitable shifts based on skills, experience, availability, and location
Confirm bookings clearly and accurately, ensuring all candidates are fully briefed prior to each assignment
Maintain regular contact with temporary workers to keep them engaged, available, and well-supported
Handle changes, cancellations, and last-minute cover requests with professionalism and composure
Administration
Record all bookings and candidate information accurately within the recruitment management system
Track timesheets and liaise with the payroll function to ensure temporary workers are paid correctly and on time
Maintain up-to-date client and candidate records in line with internal processes and compliance requirements

Person Specification
Essential:
Demonstrable experience in temporary recruitment, preferably within a high-volume desk environment
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities simultaneously without compromising on accuracy or service quality
A calm, solutions-focused approach to managing last-minute requests and changes
Confidence in working with recruitment systems and databases

Desirable:
Previous experience in property, facilities management, hospitality, or a similarly service-led sector
Familiarity with London's geography and transport network
Experience working within an embedded or managed service recruitment model

What We Offer
Salary: base £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus commission - OTE £40 - 50k
Location: Central London office, with one day per week working from home following successful completion of probation
Hours: Monday to Friday, standard office hours
Benefits: Private medical insurance, Employee Assistance Programme, social budget, complimentary lunch two Fridays per month, and social and client networking opportunities
Progression: Development opportunities within a growing business
