ServiceNow Developer: ServiceNow, Advice & Guidance, Coding, Design - (RL7997)
Our Global Enterprise client is looking a Sr. ServiceNow Developer/Consultant to provide advice and guidance on all matters relating to ServiceNow implementation and technical best practice.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 60 days (initially)
Pay Rate: £528 p/d (PLEASE NOTE: Employer NI is paid for by the client)
IR35 Status: Outside
Location: Hatfield
NOTE: Active SC Clearance is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
* Designing high quality ServiceNow solutions, while providing advice and guidance on all matters relating to ServiceNow implementation and technical best practice.
* Delivering design & high quality ServiceNow implementations based on business process requirements. REMOVE THIS WHOLE POINT
* Advanced NOW Platform Implementation understanding, with in-depth knowledge in additional ServiceNow applications.
* Able to communicate on complex issues, to meet business and customer requirements to avoid escalations.
* Keep up to date with current and future market developments, technologies, products and strategies.
* Ensuring adherence to our coding and design standards and providing technical hand-over documentation.
* Increasing application operating efficiency and adapting to new requirements, as necessary.
* Assisting with system testing and UAT.
* Escalate issues in line with company processes, to ensure customer demands are met.
* Attend and present at customer meetings to ensure understanding of customer requirements and to assist with knowledge transfer.
* Recording, qualification and questioning of customer requirements, even in complex projects and in the case of unclear customer requirements.
Soft Skills:
* Flexible approach and ability to work co-operatively within a newly created team environment
* Should be a self-starter and be able to perform quality assurance and control to create technical deliverables that are error free/with minimal non-functional defects.
* Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environment.
* Methodical and structured in their approach to tasks.
* Capability to organise and prioritise tasks
* Strong interpersonal skills to establish/maintain relationships and interact with team members
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
