Role & Responsibilities
* Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
* Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and diary coordination
* Answer incoming calls, respond to email enquiries, and direct urgent messages
* Process payments, issue receipts, and handle insurance or finance queries
* Maintain accurate patient records in our practice management system
* Assist clinical team with smooth patient flow and compliance (GDPR, CQC)
* Resolve basic patient concerns and escalate complex issues appropriately
What We're Looking For
* Strong customer-service mindset and genuine rapport-building skills
* Professional appearance, attitude, and clear verbal communication
* Experience in dental or medical reception (advantageous but not essential)
* Proficiency with appointment software (e.g., Dentally, SOE) or ability to learn quickly
* Excellent organisation, multitasking ability, and attention to detail
* Discretion, confidentiality, and adherence to data-protection standards
* A proactive, solution-oriented approach under pressure
