Stores person (Part time) Permanent post
£25,073 to £28,108 per annum (pro-rata) Posts are offered at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay rise.
We are looking for an experienced and customer focused Stores person to join our team at the University of Nottingham.
Working within the Stores on University Park you will be responsible for maintaining stock levels of standard items within the area. You will be the first point of contact for the Estates Team, suppliers and other internal and external customers and will take delivery of a large amount of items on a daily basis storing products correctly and ensuring the stores area is kept in a safe and tidy condition. You will also be required to source new products from suppliers and will ensure best value is achieved at all times.
Candidates should have relevant vocational qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent with some relevant work experience or have experience of working in a stores environment relating to engineering or building supplies.

Hours of work are 15 per week to be worked mainly Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 12.00pm with flexibility to work occasional weekends as required.
The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings on the first week of appointment. Further details will be given at interview.
