Job Description:
Deputy Home Manager - Registered Nurse at Grappenhall Manor Care Centre. Full-time, permanent position.
Join our new, purpose-built 70-bed care facility in Warrington, Cheshire, opened in April 2023. We provide residential, nursing, and dementia care, investing in the latest technology and offering a comprehensive activity program to enhance residents' wellbeing. Our staff are carefully selected, fully inducted, and receive ongoing training. We pride ourselves on employing a permanent team to ensure continuity of care.
We seek a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Deputy Home Manager responsible for managing the clinical area, supervising care delivery, and maintaining high standards. The role offers a competitive salary of £50,000+ per annum, with shifts from 07:45 to 20:00, including alternate weekends, and flexibility to cover staff leave and sickness.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Home Manager to meet performance and quality targets.
* Providing leadership and support to staff.
* Building relationships with stakeholders.
* Ensuring high standards of resident care and addressing poor practice.
* Managing safety, quality, and financial aspects of the home.
* Promoting the care home within the community.
* Safeguarding the welfare of residents and staff.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (1st Level)
* Experience in managing people, services, and quality standards.
* Background in Health and Social Care sector.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills and relationship-building ability.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and in-house systems.
