They are now seeking a skilled Trading Operations Executive to play a crucial role in building out their new financial operations function here in Belfast. This is a brand new, full-time permanent job opportunity with one of the most exciting new entrants to the NI market in years. The Role: As the successful Trading Operations Executive, you will play a key role in: Inputting payment instructions (both fiat and digital assets) raised by the trading desk - verifying payment amounts and counterparty wallet information with accuracy and diligence Helping to ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end payment process, including releasing funds to counterparties - while ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and due diligence procedures Providing high-quality client service support, escalating and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments when required Contributing to improving the client experience by supporting process enhancements - assisting with automation efforts and helping to streamline workflows for greater efficiency Supporting the team in identifying potential operational risks and ensuring controls are followed Supporting the Team Leads in carrying out responsibilities, assisting in ad-hoc tasks as/when required The Person: The successful Trading Operations Executive will meet the following criteria: Demonstrable experience within similar roles from banking or settlements background Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and controls processes Degree-level education - preferably in Finance, Business or related field Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Existing understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain and regulations across jurisdictions is advantageous but not essential The Rewards: Attractive packages available commensurate on experience Onboarding provided on-site in international HQ Opportunity to be one of the first members of new NI team To speak in absolute confidence about this Trading Operations Executive opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Josh Craig at MCS Group Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
