Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior Electrical Engineer located in Swansea or Exeter, with a potential opportunity to work fully remote for the right candidate. You\'ll take ownership of electrical design across a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with clients, architects and contractors from concept through to completion. This is a genuine opportunity to play a key role in shaping the technical output of a growing practice
Day to day you\'ll be:
* Leading electrical design across RIBA Stages 1–5.
* Providing technical advisory support to clients throughout RIBA Stage 5.
* Undertake handover and commissioning witnessing support.
* Producing detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
* Carrying out site visits, inspections, and witnessing commissioning activities.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and other design team members.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering principles.
* Experience across LV distribution, lighting design, fire alarm systems, security systems and small power.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
* Experience with relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, Electrical OM/Amtech).
* Familiarity with applicable industry standards.
