The Role:
Our Assistant Stylists are key to the success of our grooming salons. You will deliver high standards of pet care, demonstrating basic technical skills in preparing and clipping dogs for grooming, including handling techniques, equipment use, and pre-grooming preparation.
We provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver excellent service, reflecting our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. We offer a competitive base pay and support your growth through comprehensive training, including our Earn as You Learn programmes and skill-based pay enhancements.
We’re seeking individuals who are:
* Passionate about delivering excellent service.
* Flexible to work a shift pattern across 6 days a week; we are closed on Sundays. A minimum contract of 39 hours is offered, with additional hours during busy periods, absences, or holidays.
* Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment is desirable but not essential (note: bathing and prepping your own dog does not count as professional experience). Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
* Familiar with target-driven environments is a plus, but not necessary if you are comfortable working towards goals.
