The business operates a hybrid working model, with this position based in the Bristol office for a minimum of three days per week. Certain remote arrangements may continue where linked to formal amodations, redeployment or previous office closures.
Your new role
As an Accountant, you will play a central role in the month‑end close process. You will prepare journals,plete a range of accounting activities across intepany, fixed assets, cash management and balance sheet reconciliations, and review transaction processingpleted by offshore colleagues. You will also support the integrity of the P&L and balance sheet, challenge manual or inefficient processes and ensure documentation reflects accurate and up‑to‑date ways of working.
What you'll need to succeed
• Experience working within an accounting function, ideally within a large andplex business
• Strong Excel skills with experience preparing reports, journal calculations and reconciliations
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and excellent organisational ability
• Confidencemunicating with a range of stakeholders across finance, audit and operational teams
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under strict month‑end deadlines
• Experience reviewing colleagues’ work and/or working with offshore teams is preferred
• Studying towards a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA) with no more than four exams remaining
