TESOL Assessor/Tutor (Part-Time – 20 Hours per Week)Location: WorksopSalary: £25+ per hourHours: 20 hours per week (flexible)Reed Further Education are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced TESOL Assessor/Tutor to support learners undertaking their TESOL qualification. Please note: This is NOT an ESOL teaching role.The position focuses on assessing and supporting trainee TESOL practitioners rather than delivering ESOL lessons to learners.Key Responsibilities
* Assess learners working towards their TESOL qualification
* Provide guidance, feedback, and support to trainee teachers
* Conduct observations and assess teaching practice
* Ensure assessment decisions meet awarding body and quality standards
* Maintain accurate learner records and progress tracking
* Support learners in successfully achieving their qualification
Essential Requirements
* Assessors Award (CAVA / A1 or equivalent)
* PTLLS / AET (or equivalent teaching qualification)
* Experience delivering or supporting TESOL training
* Strong understanding of assessment processes and quality standards
* Ability to mentor and support trainee teachers
Desirable
* Experience assessing teaching qualifications
* Background in teacher training or education programmes
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed.
