We’re excited to be partnering with a leading Retail Group to appoint a Head of Financial Planning, a high-impact leadership role at the heart of the finance function.
This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced FP&A leader to shape and drive a unified, forward-looking financial planning strategy across a complex, fast-paced organisation.
Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will lead the delivery of the Group’s 5-year plan, annual budget, and in-year forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing clear insight to senior stakeholders.
You’ll play a key role in:
* Driving a joined-up, cross-functional planning approach across P&L, cash, and performance metrics
* Providing forward-looking insight, challenge, and analysis to executive leadership
* Leading planning transformation, improving processes, systems, and forecasting accuracy
* Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and commercial curiosity
* Supporting Board-level decision-making through high-quality analysis and storytelling
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience in FP&A leadership
* Proven track record of leading planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating at Board level
* Commercially astute, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insight
* A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
