1:1 Teaching Assistant – Supporting a Year 4 Child with Autism
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: September
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide individual support for a Year 4 pupil with autism in a friendly primary school in Fareham.
Role Overview:
You will work closely with the child to support their learning, communication, and social development, helping them to fully engage with the school curriculum and environment. This role is key to ensuring the child’s needs are met in a positive and inclusive way.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing tailored support to the child throughout the school day
* Assisting with learning activities, communication, and behaviour management
* Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
* Supporting the child’s independence and social skills development
* Monitoring progress and contributing to planning and reviews

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
