Highways Electrician - £48k+ | Stable Work | Growing Contractor | Good Team Culture
We're looking for an experienced Highways / Street Lighting Electrician to join a reliable, steadily growing contractor working on a mix of highways maintenance, upgrades and improvement schemes across the UK.

What you'll be doing
1. Street lighting maintenance, repairs and LED upgrades
2. Column installs, replacements and isolations
3. SWA jointing/terminations and cut‑out upgrades
4. Electrical testing, inspection and fault‑finding
5. Working on highways and local authority schemes as part of a small, dependable team
6. Some night work and occasional working away (accommodation provided)
The work is varied but familiar - proper hands‑on highways electrical work alongside a team that knows the job.
What you need
7. HERS ECS card (essential)
8. Experience in highways or street‑lighting electrical work
9. G39, 18th Edition, IPAF, /
10. A good attitude, safety‑first mindset and reliability
11. Willingness to pick up nights or stay away when a project requires it

Location
Ideally based between Watford - Heathrow - Southampton, or up towards Northampton / Birmingham.
