This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team, supporting a young person aged 11-17 in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and stable home environment, helping the young person develop life skills, build confidence, and work towards their future goals.
* Salary:
Qualified: £30,764 plus £50 per sleep-in
Unqualified: £28,157 plus £50 per sleep-in
* Shift Pattern: 1 on, 2 off, providing a great work-life balance
* Annual Leave: 240 hours (30 days)
* Location: Clacton-on-Sea
Responsibilities
* Support the young person with daily routines, education, and activities
* Encourage independence and help develop essential life skills
* Build positive relationships and act as a role model
* Work as part of a team to provide a safe and supportive environment
* Follow care plans and safeguarding procedures to ensure the highest standards of care
What We're Looking For
* Passion for working with young people and making a difference in their lives
* Ability to build trusting relationships and provide emotional support
* A positive, proactive, and patient approach
* Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce (desirable but not essential)
* Willingness to complete Level 3 qualification through our Training Academy if not already achieved
