Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to grow the team We’re seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale Earthworks and Ground Remediation projects. The role will involve overseeing technical delivery on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Salary to £65k | Company Vehicle or Allowance | Hybrid Working (3 Days WFH/Site) | 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays | Pension Civil Engineer Key Essentials: * As A Civil Engineer you will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing earthworks and ground remediation operations, including cut and fill, soil stabilisation, and material re-engineering * Supervise subcontractors and site operatives, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards * Liaise with Environmental Consultants, Geotechnical Engineers, and client representatives to ensure technical requirements are met * Monitor and record daily progress, volumes moved, and materials testing * Support the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) * Ensure all earthworks and remediation works comply with CDM Regulations, environmental controls, and industry standards * Provide accurate as-built records and assist in handover documentation. * Contribute to value engineering and innovative solutions for ground improvement Civil Engineer Requirements: * Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering with exposure to earthworks and/or ground remediation * Strong knowledge of earthworks specifications, site investigation data, and soil classification * Competent in using AutoCAD and surveying software * Willingness to travel to sites nationwide civilengineer landremediation remediation earthworks soiltesting groundinvestigation maincontractor environmentalengineering contaminatedland charteredengineer remediationprojects By applying for this position, you are agreeing for CVL:LDN to hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
